Trauma and Reconstruction
Fellows are exposed to both common urologic disorders as well
as to the entire spectrum of urologic trauma, acute care, urological
problems and a wide range of reconstructive urology. All fellows
have operating room and outpatient clinic responsibility, in addition
to teaching and patient care. Research in basic science and outcomes
focuses on trauma, reconstruction and wound healing. This fellowship
is designed to develop future academic leaders.
Application Process
The trauma and resonstruction fellowship is open to persons
who have completed a residency program in urology, are lisencable
in the state of California, and will preferably be a candidated
for American Board of Urology. Applications for the single vacancy
are due on the first of January, 18 months before the fellowship
start date of July 1 (e.g. January 1, 2006 for July 1, 2007).
