Research Interests

Chan’s research focus is on nutritional and hormonal risk factors for prostate cancer incidence, progression, and mortality. She is conducting research to identify modifiable risk factors for prostate cancer recurrence and mortality among men living with prostate cancer. She is currently studying whether dietary or lifestyle changes after diagnosis impact a man’s future risk of experiencing a rise in his PSA level or the development of metastasis.
